Our goal
Boards and residents include people of every age and ability, and a website about association information has to work for all of them. We are building fycus.ai to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. This is a goal, not a claim of full conformance.
What we have done
- Text and interface colors were checked against WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios, and links in body text stay underlined.
- Pages can be used with a keyboard alone. There is a skip link, and focus is visible.
- The signup form is labelled, shows errors in text, and does not rely on color alone.
- Pages reflow on phones and zoom without losing content, and buttons and links have touch targets of at least 44 pixels.
- Animation is kept to a minimum and respects the reduced-motion setting on your device.
Known limits
- We have run automated checks and worked through the pages ourselves. We have not yet had the site audited by an outside accessibility specialist or tested it with people who use assistive technology, and we will say so here when we do.
- The Board home image on the home page is an illustration of a planned screen with sample data. Screen readers get a short description of it, not each item inside it.
- Some third-party content, such as the consent choices for analytics, may not meet the same standard.
Tell us if something does not work
If you have trouble using any part of fycus.ai, or need information in another format, email accessibility@fycus.ai. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you use. We will reply within a few business days and will work on a fix or offer another way to get what you need.
